At the completion of your booking you will be given a reference number, followed by an email confirming your booking and including your voucher. You must print this voucher and then present it at the car rental agency when picking up your vehicle.
At the rental agency pick-up counter, you will be required to show the voucher sent by GotRentalCars.com, a valid driver’s license (if your license is not written in Roman script, you will need to present an International Driving License), a valid ID and an international credit card (debit cards are not accepted by rental agencies).
Rental agencies do not apply the amount of the deposit but require a payment pre-authorization on the credit card. The deposit varies depending on the value of the vehicle. For more information prior to booking contact us, or ask at the rental agency when picking up the vehicle.
In most countries, a minimum age and a minimum detention period of the driver’s license are required. These conditions vary according to the rental agency, the country and the category of vehicle rented. This information and underage driver’s additional fees, if any, will be specified during the booking.
Only drivers listed on the rental contract are covered by the rental agency’s insurance and are allowed to drive the rental car. To add additional drivers, each must show their driver’s license at the rental car pick-up. If you add drivers to the rental contract, additional fees will be requested by the rental agency; these fees will be specified at time of booking.
Yes; however, one-way fees may be added to the rental cost according to the country and the rental company that we select for you. This information will be provided during your reservation process and will appear on your voucher.
CDW and TP limit rental drivers’ liability for damage to or loss of the rental vehicle, unless it results from use as prohibited by the rental agreement. Some deductible may apply. Rental companies will provide you with a phone number to call in case of emergency to get roadside assistance. Any accident must be reported to the rental agency as soon as possible, but no later than 48 hours after the incident. An accident report drawn up by the parties involved must be provided to the rental agency.
